Blackberry and Apple Smoothie

SHARE

Now that we are moving into Autumn, there are lots of apples growing on the trees and blackberries on wild bushes. These two fruits aren’t just for crumbles, we’ve used them to make a blackberry and apple smoothie. As well as both being rich in antioxidants, apples are a good source of gut-friendly fibre and blackberries contain immune-boosting vitamin C. The almonds, oats and cinnamon help to give this smoothie a crumble flavour, and will make it more filling.

Methods

Throw all of the ingredients into a high-speed blender such as a Nutribullet and blend for 30 seconds until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass and enjoy straight away or store in the fridge for 3 days.
